Time flies. Regardless of hardness, we marched with full confidence and easiness to the challenging and hopeful 2009.
    Looking back to 2008, in the relay of fast and then prudent development, we accelerated the development, and the scope of industry, operation benefits and management efficiency has been greatly upgraded. During 2008, the operational achievement has been renewed to a higher level. For example, the sales revenue of the Zhuzhou Institute  has reached up to RMB3.84 billion Yuan, with an increase of 37% compared to that of the previous year; these three industry divisions as “rail traffic, new material, new energy” made breakthroughs with increasing trends; the organization structure was optimized as the “1+7”management mode resulted in good effect; all the key tasks were pushed forward, with breakthroughs in technology introduction and innovation like AC traction with self inteligence, great achievements in technology extension like industrialization of wind turbine,EV and industrial converters; competitiveness on the core technology increased; the international merger was a new step of capital operation; the cultural construction was effective as well. All these made us feel inspired.
    Looking forward to 2009, we are quite aware of the responsibility and mission of making successful industry of rail traffic, new material and new energy   on our shoulder and the brilliant future unfolding in front of us. The management goal in the coming year of 2009 is to ensure a sales volume of RMB 5.5 billion yuan and strive for a breakthrough of RMB 6 billion yuan. We should firmly center on the development thought of ensuring the position based on the railways, enhancing prosperity through centric diversified development, stressing implementation through management elevation, increasing benefit through revenue increasing and expenditure saving, and creating harmony based on man to open a new chapter of Beyond Dreams , Beyond Billions at such a new hostoric point, to offer tributes to our country's 60th anniversary and 50th anniversary of our insititute with a rapid, sustained and sound development and outstanding achievements so as to return more to the country(shareholders), the society, all our clients and our employees.
    Aroma permeating the garden with blossom in Spring and fruit in Autumn; ambition soaring to the skies is expressed again in the eastwind. We should be flexible according to the circumstances with quick action to pursue higher goals and create a Zhuzhou Institute of prosperity, beauty and harmony relying on wisdom,competence and diligence with our hearts and our hands.
